Watch out for various varieties of Web worms, spray with appropriate herbicide (there are many good organics available…try “BT”). If problem is not severe and you can reach the web bags, you can tear the webbing and Red Hornets will begin killing the worms.

Keep hand watering newly installed plant materials with a hose.

Watch for yellow/brown patches developing in turf, could be signs of grub worm infestation…especially if heavy spring rains led to large June Bug populations.

Keep swimming…it’s still hot!
